ABOUT KANADE
KANADE is an easy-going visual novel that tells the tale of two childhood friends communicating with one another through letters and slowly growing closer. Their love story unfolds against a backdrop of a quietly ending world as it weaves together romance and melancholy.
The piece is written by Asou Ei, the author who created extremely popular visual novels like Euphoria and Sakura no Uta. His writing is emotionally engaging, and this novel will be offered even if one has never seen a visual novel before or if it has been a long time since touching one.
The artwork is gorgeous and was also done by Yusano, who has been involved in ATRI and GINKA. Character designs are really emotional and detailed, with the main character voiced by Yuko Natsuyoshi, who also performs the opening song.
The sounds were composed by Fuminori Matsumoto (known in Wonderful Everyday), which fit the mood perfectly. The lyrics of the opening theme were written by the one who wrote songs from the Grisaia series, which further increases its worthiness.
